FIRST EVER WSA SUPPORTED SCHOOL

DOWNE HOUSE BECOMES THE FIRST EVER WSA SUPPORTED SCHOOL

Downe House is an independent boarding school in Berkshire, UK for girls aged 11-18. Whilst encouraging a sharp focus on the future, the PE Department introduces their pupils to a wide range of physical activities. They aim to allow pupils to find their sport, enjoy their sport and excel in their sport.

We selected Downe House School to be the first WSA Supported School because of their unbelievable commitment to girl’s PE and high performance sport. They have many talented female athletes that have been selected by Downe House to become Members of the Women’s Sports Alliance.

WSA Founder, Jordan Guard stated: “Downe House’s commitment to allowing their girls to thrive in sport is second to none. We’ve build a brilliant relationship with the school and the staff already and we are looking forward to welcoming 30 of their most talented female athletes to our Membership programme. There is some serious talent in there! To the selected girls, congratulations!! And a huge welcome to the WSA community.”
